        Why I choose Humanities and Social Sciences?

 Hi! I'm Bethanie Base and I am a proud Filamerian student. I am Grade 11 HUMSS A and I just want to share to you some of the reasons why I choose Humanities and Social Sciences as my strand.

I choose HUMSS because it focuses on it's academic track which is for the courses like education, lawyer, psychologist, journalist, sociologist, and more. I dream to become a teacher when I grow up that's why I decided to take this strand because it fits for my chosen work which is a teacher. This strand will helps me to become a good teacher because it enhances my oral communication and socialization, it helps me to boost my confidence and this strand will help me to enhance my ability and skills. It was more on academic performances which will develop you as a better student. 

HUMSS strand was not easy than what you think. Some students are criticizing other HUMSS students because they thought that these students are always having some fun and doesn't have any big task. But all of you got a wrong judgments, we HUMSS students have many hardships in life especially of so many paper works and reportings. Even though we're in the middle semester, we can say that we can give up anytime because of so many things to do. But because of courage and perseverance to have good grades, we stand up and endure all the long sufferings.  And now, I can say that in 4 months of staying in this group, I became more confident than before. I became more responsible, I can handle any hard circumstances and situations on my own and I have learned many things. Even though this strand gives me more stress, I didn't regret in choosing this strand.
